Which colour mascara is better for me?

HI!

I have darkish auburne copper-brown hair and turquoise-grey eyes, and I don't know if I should get brown or black mascara. My mom says that black is really slutty (but she's a blonde and she uses brown) and I don't know which really will look better on me. (I am sixteen)

I am trying to imagine how dark your hair is. I would suggest the brown, but you'd probably ought to try both. black isnt necassarily slutty either, ima guess her mom told her that. since she's a blonde that is extreme. I have straight black hair so the only choice I have is black. I would say, just get some cheap makeup (not cheap quality, cheap price) and experiment until you find whats right for you.

since your hair is dark colored, than black would probably look better on you than brown would. but you should probably buy one tube of each and try both looks and see which you really like best.

stick to black. Actually,you would be amazed at how many black shades there are!

Black, a lighter one. Curl your eyelashes before applying mascara by crimping down three short times at the base, then when applying mascara,take a piece of tissue and lightly swirl wand on tissue to avoid the "slutty clumps". When you use tissue a second coat may be needed. Since your sixteen and your mom seems uptight that should be the limit!

However,being me and rebellious, if you want a little more line your eyes in a dark brown only on upper lid! good luck!
