Hair Colour Change?

How can I go from Plum to Blonde, Im normally mid brown, I also have about 50% grey. Can I actually change back to blonde, I once was Blonde b4 I dyed it plum.Also can I do this from home, or must it be done in a salon??? Thanx.

If you were blond before you went plum just go get the color remover from the store use that then get blond hair color and apply that after your hair dries

i have been a stylist 24 years and that's how we take colors back down back up is a longer process

make sure the blond that you get has 100% grey coverage

going from plum to blonde at home from the box isnt going to work well, so go to a well known salon that you trust and they can go from a plum to a blonde.

I would suggest that you go to a salon when changing your hair that drastically. Your hairstylist will know exactly how much peroxide to use, what volume, what color..... There is a lot of information that goes into mixing color. Also, if you do it at home, you run the risk of looking like Chester Cheetah!

I do my hair coloring myself, but if you don't trust yourself go to a salon. And yeah you can go back to blond, but start off with a dark shade of blond and slowly work into the shade of blond you desire.

well, my friend had brown hair b4 she dyed it blonde, but da first time she dyed it, it didn't turn out as 'blonde' as she wanted, so she dyed it that same color da 2nd time (like a couple of days apart), and it turned out good. :)

or u can just bleach it and dye it from there (which i don't really suggest cuz it's hell on ur hair)

and in case u don't lyk how ur hair turns out after u dye it, they also sell 'hair dye remover' which is safe and doesn't damage ur hair dat much.

Haircolor has different 'layers'. You have to lift all unneccesary layers of color before the one you want to use will hold to your hair. For example, A light blonde has to 'fill her hair with red tomes before she can go back to brown, and a brunette must 'lift the red from her hair to become blond, or you will get the brassy redness.

Definitely go to the salon. I tried to go blonde at home from a medium brown color, and my hair turned orange! Go to a salon, or you'll be sorry, trust me.
