Don't know what color you are trying to achieve, but 'Clairol Gray Busters' works well on everyone I have used it on.

Could be your hair is just very resistant to dye however I have a lot of grey (unfortunately) and use Belle Hair Colour and it completely covers my grey. Next time you go to the salon tell them the product they are using isn't covering up the grey and see if they can suggest some alternative.

Either they're not applying it correctly (i.e. making sure that ALL your hair gets hit), or they're not leaving it on long enough. Instructions normally say to leave it on for 10-12 minutes, but some hair is tougher to color than others. When I do mine, I need to leave it on for at least 15 minutes, otherwise it doesn't saturate.

Redken is a pretty good color line, I have found that alfaparf is a great one for coloring grey. You should keep your eyes open for people that have hair like you then ask them where they go. If you have extremly resistent greys then you might want to ask them about presoftening your hair first. This will help a lot of the times too! Good luck!
