Eyeshadow and glasses???

You sound very pretty. I also wear glasses and have learned that a natural look is still the best, meaning not over doing the makeup... For your eye color and what I imagine your complexion might be, I would go with grey/blue eyeshadow at the outer corner and underneath, a light gold at the corners inside and a shade similar to your outfit over the pupil a light pink/peach or beige at the brow. Then line your eyes with a light brown pencil and smudge the under lash and a coat of brown/black mascara you should be perfect.

Good Luck. Hope it helps. Nana

you should go with the natural look, you know like shimmers or light browns, but if you must use color then go with light blues, greens and purples..it all depends on your style

I find that everyone looks good in pink! I think matching your eyes, I would go with a glittery light blue eyeshadow, or a natural kind of look.... a light pink would be nice too. Maybe try wearing contacts if you can. I personally wear glasses too,and I've been dieing for contacts!

I also wear glasses and in truth, it just took time and some experimenting to figure out what I liked and what looked great! Seriously. When you apply your eyemakeup, make sure that you take time to put your glasses on and look at each "step" (use your highlighter, check. use the base color, check. use the accent color, check.) My other suggestion is only apply about half as much eyeliner as you think you need and then set it by gently following the liner with a complimentry eyeshadow. This also helps to defuse the line of the liner and make it soft and smokey looking. A great place to play with color(because everyone is unique!) is on the virtual look section at www.marykay.com. Here you can also find a personal Mary Kay consultant that will help you find your look and even help you try that look out before you buy anything! Take your time, experiment and have fun!

I found that if you stick with just the eye shadows (crease and lid), it seems to work the best. Eyeliner and mascara, especially when you are blonde, will just end up outlining your eyes behind the glasses. They are already being outlined by the glasses, so now all you see are lines and more lines. What you want to do is pull the focus of people's attention *into* the lens of your glasses with some color. *POP* your eyes a bit (not much) with some blue on the farthest outside rim of the bone of the lid (just under the high part of your brow). Lighter blue-green on the lids. Smokey steel blue in the crease. Blend softly. See if you like it. If not, try a pinkish-rose to pop your eyes -- that's always a good one, too. Good luck!
