You might want to take that literally and dress him like he was from 100 years ago (1907). Spats, a hat, a vest/suit coat, etc. If you don't want to take it that far (or your son might not!), definitely a cane would be a great prop. Glasses, a fake beard? -- these might be too much for such a little one to keep together. A sweater vest and high-waisted pants are a good bet-- you can probably find a great selection of 80's vests and pants that are your child's size at Goodwill or the Salvation Army, to cut down the cost. A dress shirt and ugly tie - maybe even an old sports coat. Kahki pants. Draw lines on his face with eye-liner and let him wear glasses w/no lenses or with clear non-prescip. lenses. (You can get reading glasses at the dollar store and pop out the lenses).

Give him a cane and spray his hair with gray hair spray.
