I just saw a commercial for Purina ProPlan dog food, where the woman is spending time with her dog. It is a light grey/brown short hair full size dog. I would really like to know the breed.

yeah a link would really help... but i agree, maybe a weimaraner?
maybe check out http://www.akc.org/breeds/ look on the lefthand side of the screen, there's an option of looking at them by group. click on it, i'd look through every one besides terrier and toy. in fact i'm probably going to go through them now to try and find more possibilities, lol. i'll let you know if i come up with anything or find any purina ads on youtube or something. good luck :)
