Why am I attracted to much Older guys?

I am 17 years old and a senior in high school. I usually date guys who are 1 or 2 years older than me, 3 tops. Lately I have found that my attraction has been toward MUCH older guys, in fact they are men. Usually in their mid to late thirties. I don't know if it's because I am very mature for my age, or because perhaps being an only child has caused me to constantly be surrounded by adults. It has been hard for me to date guys who are close to my own age because I find them too immature and shallow. My question: Is there something wrong with me? How come I am so attracted to older men? [Most of the older guys I am into are goodlooking and youthful looking.] I don't want you to get the impression i'm looking for a guy with grey hair and wrinkles..or who is my dad's age.

Well you are the rare woman that isnt into the bs games that most women and men play these days. Most dont realize how special a real relationship can be and how mmuch more it has to offer until they are 60 lol. Im not just talking about men but most women are just about the same way. there is absolutely nothing wrong with you, in fact what your looking for is the real thing. The problem is not with u, its with most men and women these.

I don't think there is anything wrong with dating older men. Although I admit, mid to late 30's? That's a bit old for you... 15 or 20 years difference! But before you try to get involved with any older guy, make sure you are 18.

Don't worry there is nothing wrong with you. I'm the same way. I am attracted to older guys, (not as old as the ones u like tho lol) I think its because girls mature ALOT faster than guys, so all the guys that would be the same age as us are still too immature. I am 19 and my guy is 29. 10 years difference I think is fine. He already has all the nonsense partying out of his system, he has a stable job and his life is in order. I want an older guy becuase they (most of them anyway) are looking for something real, something serious. They aren't interested in playing games and neither am I.
