Why would my 2 year old shitz tzu poodles hair change color - it matches his skin?

He used to have white with grey spots, now it is kinda of peachy and grey spots. He seems to be feeling fine. Help!!!

Have you changed foods in the last several months? If so, it could be that the condition of your dog's skin and coat have improved because of better ingredients in the food, and you are only now seeing your dog's true color come out.

Food allergies are another possibility. Many dogs are allergic to beef, corn, and/or wheat. Unfortunately, they are all common ingredients in dog food. It could be that the food you are currently feeding has less of one or all of them.

If you think food allergies are the cause of your dog's color change, I would suggest switching to Nature's Recipe dog food. It does not contain beef, corn, or wheat. Just remember that it would take a couple of months to see a difference. It would definitely be worth a shot.
